Henderson Short Term Rental Compliance

While homeowners continue to capitalize on the opportunity to double or triple their rental income through the path of vacation rentals, Henderson, NV has seized the opportunity to bring more control to the STR industry. In July 2019, the city formally passed new regulation for owners of short term rentals that went in to effect in November 2019. While there are some additional compliance measures that have to be taken, the process is fairly extensive for homeowners. From decibel measuring devices required inside and outside of the home to a lengthy course at the local community college, registration is not a quick process in any way.

It's important to understand that the city has doubled down on their commitment to catching homeowners in violation of the compliance regulations nd will assess a $500/day fine for various violations.
